Their Young Women of Color Initiative addresses the alarming and disproportionate rates of negative sexual health outcomes among young women of color, Advocates for Youth seeks to build the capacity of community-based organizations serving young women of color 13 to 24 years old to provide culturally appropriate, science-based prevention programming. Break the Cycle is still the only agency to provide comprehensive dating abuse prevention programs exclusively to young people since 1996. Since 1982, CHCF (The Committee for Hispanic Children and Families, Inc.) has been dedicated to combining education and advocacy to expand opportunities for children and families, and strengthen the voice of the Latino community. imagesGEMS: Girls Education and Mentoring Services was founded by Rachel Lloyd in 1998, it is the only organization in New York State dedicated specifically to helping young women and girls who have experienced commercial sexual exploitation and domestic trafficking.  GEMS mission is to help young women and girls leave the commercial sex industry and grow to their full potential by providing them with support and opportunities for change.  GEMS offers free direct intervention services which include transitional services with housing for young women and girls as well as their children.  GEMS also provides prevention and outreach services in New York State.  GEMS


zzzGirls Not Brides is a global partnership of over 300 non-governmental organizations from over 50 countries striving to end child marriage. Members are based throughout Africa, South Asia, the Middle East, Europe and North America and work on child marriage in many different ways – by working directly with girls and child brides in their communities or focusing on research and advocacy to bring greater attention to this neglected problem. By coming together in partnership, members are raising their voices to call for action on child marriage locally, nationally and all over the world. Recently awarded Top Nonprofit by GreatNonprofits, SNA has made a tremendous impact in the fight against human trafficking. We fight trafficking in two ways. The first is a direct impact initiative that involves providing shelter, education, and medical rehabilitation for girls we rescue from brothels.
